With the Canvas wardrobe, you can also choose between three different types of door openings, each designed to offer varying levels of practicality, comfort, and, why not, aesthetic appeal.
The hinged door version features special hinges with an opening angle of up to 155°, well beyond that of standard doors on the market. This allows for greater access to the wardrobe’s interior as well as to the surrounding space. Consider, for instance, that wardrobes are often placed facing the bed, standard doors can limit movement when open. The 155° hinge, however, ensures a wider opening and even allows for the integration of a mirror inside the door.
There is also the version with overlapping sliding doors, featuring two, three, or four panels that glide over one another. The advantages of the sliding version include better use of the wardrobe’s full depth and the ability to have wider internal compartments compared to the hinged version. It also offers more freedom of movement within the room, as there are no obstructions when opening the doors.
Finally, for those who are more design-conscious and appreciate clean lines, there is the coplanar sliding system, as shown in the images beside. With coplanar doors, which sit flush with one another and are separated only by a subtle vertical line, the wardrobe almost disappears, creating the illusion of a simple wall.
