walk-in closet
The Volta walk-in closet was created and presented during the Interzum Forum Italy 2024 event.
With the aim of offering maximum customization even to the most demanding clients, we carefully selected handles, tubes, wood and leather inserts, allowing the Volta walk-in closet to adapt to any style and requirement.
Secondly, we wanted to restore the importance of wood in the structure of the walk-in closet, a material that in recent times had taken a back seat to the colder aluminium tubular frames.
However, the most intriguing challenge was to maintain the lightness and brightness that an aluminium upright brings to a walk-in closet interior.
This is how the Volta walk-in closet project was born.
The wooden uprights, recessed both at the front and back, create the effect of a single continuous back panel, enhanced by LED lighting that highlights the wood and gives the structure depth and lightness. The front panels can be customized by varying the lacquer color or upholstering them in leather, coordinated with the handles. The trouser, shoe, and hanger drawers are all matched with the rods and handles.
Every element within the Volta walk-in closet speaks the same design language.
Another distinctive detail of the Volta walk-in closet, designed for both style and functionality, is the set of side frames. Lacquered in the same shade as the front panels and equipped with integrated LED lighting, they house a full-height mirror that visually expands the space.
These side frames were conceived to make the Volta walk-in closet even more unique and versatile: in addition to the mirror, they can include shelves to store books or everyday items, transforming a simple upright into a mini library or a special corner to display personal mementos.
The Volta walk-in closet was also designed to be placed at the center of a room, thanks to its double-sided back panel. This is made possible by a fully integrated electrical system within the central uprights, powered by a single floor socket.
Alongside the Volta walk-in closet, new drawer solutions were redesigned and developed to enhance customization and elevate the client experience.
Among them, an elegant drawer featuring a concealed storage compartment, designed to discreetly and securely safeguard valuable personal items within the home. Seamlessly integrated into the walk-in closet design, this hidden compartment combines functionality, security, and sophistication, offering a solution that is both practical and unexpected.
The shoe rack can be fully customized in both dimensions and the positioning of the solid brass rods, allowing it to accommodate every type of footwear.
In addition, the shoe storage compartment can be equipped with a concealed mechanical ventilation system, designed to eliminate odors and bacteria from within the walk-in closet.
The pull-out hanger rail, ideal for hanging all types of garments, makes it easier to access the lower compartments. To enhance drawer movement and ensure a softer close, the side handles of each drawer and the chest of drawers are upholstered in leather.
With the Volta walk-in closet, every detail is designed to combine aesthetics and functionality, transforming the space into a bespoke luxury experience.
